I’m 100% McCainian-Palinist!

October 26, 2008

What is it that more than half of Americans (at least from the polls) wanted to change about their country that they wanted to elect Barack Obama, the democratic presidential ticket, as the next president?

Coming from outside America who salutes the American dream, I can’t help but wonder, is America really that bad that they want it to change? Perhaps, there are glitches in the current system that can be improved but the kind of change that is not definitive and is merely a campaign slogan, I don’t see why Americans should buy it.

What kind of change does Obama want? It seems to me that he wanted it badly to change that the fundamentals of the American way of life is under threat!

Former NYC Mayor Giuliani coined it aptly, “change is not a destination, hope is not a strategy”.

Yes, the mess that the Americans made, which directed them and the world to the current financial crisis, is a tremendous lapse in its preceding administrations, but is it solely the fault of the republicans? There are a lot of admirable traits about the American political 2-party system (democratic/GOP), it provides room for debate, which is good for check and balance, but where was the democrats when the economic crisis was still boiling? They could have prevented it in the first place. And now, Obama have the advantage only because they see Barack more as the person who can handle this chaos properly? With his weapon as being only an illinois state senator and a merely 2-yr U.S. senate  member? I never thought that majority of the Americans have bought the robinhoodish kind of heroism!

If Obama would’ve been the presidential contender in the Philippines, I bet he would sweep the votes. With majority of the people living within and below the poverty line, certainly, Obama’s idea of spreading the wealth around will get the message across (an erap approach).

But I still believe that the Americans will decide well, and correctly at that! I still believe that most Americans are intelligent and are capable of making the right choice.

Since when did the Americans elect someone only because of his eloquence without fully scrutinizing his character? Being linked to Bill Ayers and Reverend Wright? I agree with John McCain that undoubtedly, there is a lack of judgment when he chose to be affiliated with these personalities, or better yet, a very poor judgment!

What about the war in Iraq? As I see it, majority of the Americans wanted to retaliate and wage war against terrorism after 9/11. And these people who are now saying otherwise (that they are losing the war in Iraq and was a mistake) are hypocritical - more so with Colin Powell!

Fox news channel have covered the current situation in Iraq. I don’t see why they think they’re losing when in fact; the streets in Baghdad are buzzing with life? Why would Barack accept that kind of defeat? McCain is right that they should bring home the soldiers with DIGNITY and PRIDE. A battle WON, and should be continually fought upon!

Undisputedly, the world as we see it now wouldn’t be what it is if not for the American interventions and its advocacy for DEMOCRACY.

I understand that Obama’s role in the democratic ticket is a history in progress. But are most americans that moron enough to elect him only to achieve that kind of history (electing the first U.S. African-American president)? The way I look at it, Obama is only reading a part fit enough for a Hollywood presidential role… BUT NOT THE WHITE HOUSE!

I believe that on the 4th of November, Americans will FIGHT! McCain will win!

I just hope that whatever happens in the States gives a positive effect to other countries especially ours!

They’ve been going crazy with their wonderful economy its just that reality caught up with them now and they have to elect a president who can manage reality instead of just promising a vision he should be able to bring results.

Shut up asshole. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Instead of highlighting why you are voting for McCain, you go on ranting why NOT to vote for Obama. Funny, this is exactly how McCain campaigns. Hit the enemy and win by default. C’mon, when you have your father killed by a land mine in Iraq, you don’t go voting for the person who advocates war. When you have your childhood friends die for something pointless (like WAR thousands of miles away), you go questioning what the fuck is wrong with the people who advocates these kind of shit. Retaliation for 9/11? Sure. That’s against the Al Qada. That’s in Afghanistan by the way, just in case you don’t know. But Iraq? What the fuck are we doing in Iraq? Thing is, the Americans are tired already of fighting and living this way. The current administration is focused on the war instead of how to solve the stupid economic turmoil. That’s why we need CHANGE. What the hell is wrong with only having 2 years of experience? He won’t run the country by himself. He’s got elite political advisers, economic specialists and all sorts of experts behind him. What’s important here is having a president who has BETTER judgment. And please, get your facts straight. Association with Ayers? He was frickn 8 years old when all that happened. I dare you to tell me that he was fully responsible for his actions. When you were 8, what were you doing Larry? I’m sure you were bored out of your boring life as a child. Pampered and shit. You have no idea what it’s like to be out there where all the mud and grime is tarnishing this great nation called America. WE NEED CHANGE. Admit it. American dream? Not with McCain stupid.

NOW, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COMMENT? Dissect the message and you’ll see. TSKTSKTSK

hey janus!

Been very busy with school and work to go back on regularly updating my blog and reading other blogs. Just happens that I’m very passionate about the american politics right now, and I felt the urgency to write something about it.

thanks for still visiting…

What’s up with the link? You just buried yourself deeper to the ground. It says nothing about Obama being a terrorist or having him linked to someone who is. Read your articles. You skipped the important part.

You say those who decided to NOT support the war after 9/11 are hypocrites? Yes we wanted to fight back. And we did. We kicked the hell out of the al-Qaida. So now that we think ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, YOU CALL US HYPOCRITES??? tsk. tsk. So yes, I’m calling you an ASSHOLE for saying that. You go to war Larry. You go thousands of miles away from home and fight someone else’s fight. We want CHANGE. Think about it, if the gov’t would just reallocate the war spending on the issue of energy dependence, then that would be a better choice where to put your money right? Unless of course you say that the reason why we’re still fighting is that we are solving our energy problem by getting somebody else’s energy (OIL)

Clearly, you didn’t get my message. If your idea of a president is that of a KING, then fine, we should all go for the guy who we think can best RULE us. But we are not electing a KING here. we are putting someone out there to SERVE America. If you think that SERVING America entails war, higher taxes and screwed economic policies, then by all means vote for the old man. Next thing we know the VP is in charge and really all I can say is God bless America.

Let their votes speak. We don’t really have a say in what’s going to happen in the American polls.

Larry I don’t think it really matters much to us. As long as we can isolate ourselves from their excess consumption and their own pitfalls then I guess we’re still good. Life for the rest of the world will go on as America falls deeper into a recession.

Countries were not founded on the fortunes of the United States. And so life will go on for each and every non-American.

Obama, McCain these are just two names taking up space in my issue of Newsweek. I’ll wait and see.

Hmm… Since I’m not an American citizen, I will limit my comments as a spectator. First of all, I don’t really care who wins. I will not run amok if Obama wins or McCain wins. Thing is, there will always be debates whether who is fit for the top post. And these debates will continue even after the elections. Both of them believe that what they are doing is best for their country. A lot of people believe in Obama as much as a lot of people believe in McCain. My only hope is that the champion in this race would do his part to serve his country. When I was a kid, I used to want to be an American. Now… well, I have enough reasons to thank for that I’m not one. Somebody has to take the America back to its original glory and pride of being a “great nation”. Let it be the next U.S. President.

Jewels and facial featureThe first principle is that the shape of jewelry can’t be neither the same nor extremely contrary of your facial form.
